Immediate GP Appointments
If critical appointments are required, then as always patients are advised to call 111 to speak with an emergency clinician, otherwise attend your local Accident and Emergency department if necessary.
Urgent GP Appointments
If you have an urgent health concern that does not require A&E, please submit an eConsult. All eConsults are reviewed on the same day by a clinician, who will assess your symptoms and signpost you to the most appropriate care pathway. The surgery will then contact you with the outcome of the clinician’s review.
If you are unable to submit an eConsult yourself, please contact the practice by phone and a care navigator will complete the form on your behalf.
Routine and/or Nursing Appointments
For routine or nursing appointments, please submit an eConsult or contact the practice by phone. All appointment requests are triaged, and appointments will be arranged within two weeks with the clinician best suited to manage your symptoms.
Long-term Conditions Appointments
If you have a long-term condition, a Care Coordinator will be in touch to ensure you receive your annual blood tests, clinician reviews, and any other checks required to support the ongoing management of your condition.
Modes of Contact:
Voicemail
The surgery operates a voicemail service between 10am – 12pm, to help reduce long waiting times on the phone. Please leave a message including your full name, date of birth, and reason for contacting the surgery. All voicemail messages are reviewed and actioned on the same day.
Self-Booking Link
To help ensure appointments are convenient for patients, the surgery may send you a self-booking link. This allows you to choose the most appropriate appointment time from the available slots.
Non-urgent advice: Cancelling an Appointment
You can also cancel using the link provided in your text message reminder.
Or use the NHS App to cancel appointments anytime.
Please do not leave voicemail messages to cancel appointments, as these may not be listened to in time and appointments could be wasted.
