I had an appoinment to see a GP 4.00pm on 10-12-2019. I checked in at the self check in machine at 3.40 pm. The message came as checked in and wait in the main waiting area. after which I apporoached a receptionist and informed that i have checked in at the machine and queried where shall i wait. she asked for my full name and asked me to wait in the main waiting area. After waiting for nearly an hour I was not called to see the GP. I then approached the receptionist again and she told me that I have not checked in. I was shocked as my check in was confirme by the macine and the reception. I don't know whom to blame. Thanfully I was able to get another appointment at 11.00 am on 11-12-2019 which I hope will happen without any mishap. Hope that when technical problems occur like this, patients don't have to suffer and the rececption staff can be more helpful to the patients. Thanking you

I have been with this GP for 10 years and I am very happy with the service I have got throughout the years. Especially my regular GP has been so helpful, he gave me some good advice regarding cutting down my antidepressants, since then I have stopped using antidepressants and it had such a positive impact in my life. I feel so much better and I can concentrate to things in my life that really matters. He also gave me some good tips to change my lifestyle and those really worked out for me.

Improving - Keep up the good work!
I have been a patient of this surgery for 15 years and the main problem of this surgery has always been the unhelpful receptionists. Recently, despite being aware of the number of patients increasing day by day, I have noticed there are many new receptionists on training and they are all very nice, polite and willing to help. This is a big improvement and i am very thankful. When you are ill and you approach the desk, it is not nice to meet someone arrogant and treats like you should not be there to book an appointment. Keep up the good work!!! The telephone booking system still needs lots of work, though. I called once at 8.00 am and i was number 42. I eventually hung up at 8.45 when i was still number 25. If you are ill, you just cannot walk to the surgery to book an appointment at 8 am or at 2 pm and you want to be able to book via telephone or via app. I cannot understand why it is not possible to book urgent appointments via app. Please sort out this issue asap. Once you book your appointment , the doctors and nurses are all very nice and professional.

The best GP ever.
This GP is an excellent one, once all the staff are very kind, polite and helpful. I always had been treated well and since I asked for a follow up for my mother they amazed me more. The doctor who is following my mother is doing all she can to help us. She passed exams to analyse better my mother situation and she even studied her prescriptions very carefully. She is an extraordinary person full of energy and sympathy. I feel that I matter and each smile they( Doctors, Nurses and Reception Staffs) give me it makes me feel hopeful. They are examples of wonderful human beings. Thank you so much East Croydon GP Medical Center!
