Ordering a repeat prescription

Repeat Prescriptions

If you take any medicines regularly you will be issued with a computerised list. Repeat prescriptions can be requested in the following ways:

  • By post (please include a stamped self-addressed envelope for return of prescription)
  • Or Online using Patient Access (see portal below)

We cannot accept requests for repeat prescriptions by telephone.

Please allow two working days for our prescription clerk to prepare your repeat prescriptions (some might take longer if they need to be reviewed/re-authorised by a doctor). If you have been provided with your log in details click the following link to access the online system.

Some local pharmacies will arrange to collect prescriptions for you; ask at reception for details.

Medication Reviews

From time to time we require you to see the doctor or the nurse for a medication review before a repeat prescription can be issued. This is to ensure that you get the medications that are most appropriate. To check for your medication review date please refer to the repeat slip.

Order your repeat prescription online at a time that suits you.

Your details and information are protected by the highest standards of online security, so all you need to worry about is what to do with the spare time you’ve earnt.
