We are moving to Edridge Road Medical Centre from the 14th of June 2021.  This is a temporary move to allow us to redevelop the East Croydon Medical Centre.

All Patient Face-to-Face appointments will be at Edridge Road Medical Centre from this date, however our phone number will remain the same for all enquiries.

Our Covid vaccination clinic will be completed by June 30th.  Any patients that still require a vaccination should book their appointment online via the NHS Website.

Who is being vaccinated currently?

We are working on cohort 9 which means people of over the age of 50 and in an at risk group will be contacted about vaccinations.

How will I be contacted about vaccinations?

If you have not received a letter but believe yourself to belong to this category. Please wait, and we will contact you via text to be vaccinated. Once you have been contacted, please contact our reception team to have your text checked and to be booked in.

Where are people being vaccinated?

We are currently vaccinating people at Fairfield Halls. Upon arrival, please look to the left hand side of Fairfield halls to see a side entrance leading into a café. We are holding the vaccinations in this side area.

Can I see my GP face to face?

In accordance with covid safety guidelines given to us by the government, we have moved most of our appointments to telephone consultations. This means patients call the doctor from their own home. However in some cases it will be required to have a face to face appointment. This will be explained to you when the booking is made. However if you are unsure, please call our reception team and they will clarify this with you.

What should I bring if I have a face to face appointment?

Upon arrival, buzz the intercom at the front door and tell the reception team who your appointment is with. Please ensure that you come wearing a face mask.  Once inside, we have set up a one way system inside the practice laid out with arrows on the floor.

General news

We are moving practices

Our practice has been continuing to grow in size and capability over the years. We now have over 20,000 registered patients. In order to continue our high level of care we need to continue to grow our reception, admin and clinical teams. We have decided that we need a new temporary home. This will be a bigger building from which we can ensure high levels of care as we move into the future. In order to achieve this we are moving out of our home on Addiscombe road for a year while the building undergoes a significant expansion. We will maintain all services and uphold all patient obligations during this time at Edridge Road Community Health Centre.

Edridge Road Community Health Centre, 2 Edridge Road - Croydon In The 2010s

Edridge is only a 20 minute walk away from our current home and has all of the facilities required for our reception, admin and clinical teams to operate. We look forward to welcoming you to our new home.

New Address from June 14th 2021: Impact House, 2 Edridge Rd, Croydon CR0 1FE

*Please continue to attend appointments at our current address until April 2021.
