Practice Building Development
Posted on 1 Dec 2017
Over the last year East Croydon Medical Centre has been in consultation with Croydon CCG to redevelop the surgery.
It has been recognised the growth of central Croydon particularly from a residential point of view. Due to the expected population growth Croydon CCG and recognised this needs to be addressed and also acknowledge that there was a lack of space within current GP facilities to accomodate this expected growth.
To address this we have been working with architects and Croydon CCG to come up with a plan worthy of submitting to Croydon Council looking at renovating and expanding the surgery. Bringing in a public pharmacy, which was also identified as a need in the area, as well as potentially brining in state of the art equipment to offer a higher standard of care, which we felt would benefit not just our patients, but the local community as Croydon Borough as a whole.
Please feel free to come in to the surgery or visit the Croydon Council website to see plans submitted
With plans being submitted we are waiting to find out if successful to which there will be a further announcement
