East Croydon Medical Centre over the last few months have submitted and won a bid to merge with Heathfield Surgery, which will bring about a growth in the practices list size by approximately 3000 patients. This opportunity came up as the partners at Heathfield Surgery have decided to dissolve their partnership
Throughout this merger the service and care received by both our patients and incoming patients has been at the forefront. To resolve this we have made an agreement with Heathfield Surgery to keep the surgery site open in normal use until the end of January, in which we have agreed with the partner to stay with Heathfield Surgery to offer continuity, better care and management.
Once the Heathfield Surgery site is closed, at the end of January' the partner will move over to East Croydon Medical Centre to help support the transition. Once settled they will then move on to pasteurs new
We have further addressed this at the East Croydon Medical Centre by increasing the clinical team to support the increase in capactiy alongside our natural growth in the local area due to developments.
Any further updates will bve communicated in due time
